mandatiq

Changelog

What's new in mandatiq

Recent product, content, and infrastructure work — newest first.

  1. Portuguese (pt-PT) site

The marketing site now ships in European Portuguese alongside English. Homepage, pricing, the EAA blog post, the top 5 WCAG criterion pages, and the Siteimprove + accessiBe comparisons are translated; everything else falls back to English. Each URL pair is linked via hreflang so Google serves the right language per region.

  2. Comparison pages — mandatiq vs the alternatives

Side-by-side honest comparisons against Siteimprove, accessiBe, UserWay, and axe DevTools. Public pricing where the vendor publishes it, attributed criticism where it doesn't, and a visible last-reviewed date so the facts don't rot silently.

  3. Speed Insights + privacy-respecting analytics

Vercel Speed Insights and Analytics are wired up under the existing cookie-consent gate — no beacons fire until you accept analytics. Web Vitals start populating the team dashboard once production traffic hits.

  4. WCAG 2.1 reference — every success criterion

All 78 WCAG 2.1 success criteria now have their own page with plain-language explanations, common failure modes, and fix techniques. Keyboard-search the index at /wcag or jump straight to /wcag/1.4.3.

  5. EAA Compliance Guide blog post

The first long-form post in the new blog: a short, practical EAA primer covering deadlines, who's in scope, what compliance actually means in practice, and the realistic minimum first sprint for an unaudited site.
